Act for Kids has this important message in DV Awareness Month

Act for Kids, the Australian charity whose purpose is to prevent and treat child abuse and neglect, has released an important video during Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month.

The video, narrated by Act for Kids specialist Domestic and family violence practitioner Melissa Poulier, acknowledges the significant impact that domestic violence has on the safety and wellbeing of children and their families.

It highlights how domestic and family violence impacts the fundamental human rights of children and families to live in safety and security.

And how, for children growing up with violence, the impacts can be significant and long-lasting, impacting their health, wellbeing, education, relationships and housing outcomes.
